                            Basic Settings

Set radio to RX 439.400 with –9MHz rpt Shift DV Mode

 

UR: CQCQCQ 

R1:  GB7BM  B ( That's GB7BM space space B )

R2 : GB7BM  G ( That's GB7BM space space G )                    

MY: G9ABC  (Your call sign ) 

UR: is also used as a command line to link and unlink reflectors eg

        REF021BL to Link GB7BM to REF021B ( MIDSTAR )

                        U TO Unlink any connection ( 7 spaces then U )

        UR must be reset to CQCQCQ after the link/ unlink command is sent.

 

R1: This is the call sign of your local repeater. B is for the 70cms port ( no other ports fitted )

 

R2: This is the call sign of your destination repeater

        If set to GB7BM  G your calls will go out over the gateway as well as over the local repeater.

        If set to GB7BM  B your calls will only go via RF “ the local repeater”

        This can also be set to another repeaters call sign to route your call via that repeater

 

MY: This is set to your own call sign

 

NOTE THAT THE B G AND U IN THE ABOVE MUST BE IN THE 8^th LETTER POSITION.
